Pacific Fusion is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong manufacturing and NPI experience to lead the build center for their nuclear fusion demonstration system. This role involves bridging the gap between design and production, developing mechanical design improvements, and designing tooling and assembly solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, and expertise in CAD, FEA, and DFM. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance throughput, quality, and maintain critical process documentation for complex hardware.
