Muon is seeking a Principal Mission Architect to lead mission formulation and direct the development of new mission architectures, focusing on EO/IR, persistent infrared, or MW/MT/MD missions. This role involves working with customers to define needs, managing engineering teams to develop cost-effective solutions, and performing mission-level analyses, requirements definition, and design for space missions. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated engineer with 12+ years of experience in space mission design, strong software skills, and an active TS/SCI clearance. You will be responsible for developing complete mission concepts, owning top-level mission budgets, and collaborating with other engineers and scientists to ensure product objectives are met.
