Muon is seeking a Senior Instrument Calibration Scientist to focus on the calibration of infrared remote sensing instruments. This role involves establishing scalable calibration hardware infrastructure and processes to deliver science-grade radiometric and geometric calibration artifacts. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated engineer or scientist with experience in infrared electro-optical systems and remote sensing instruments. You will own calibration standards, lead the design and development of test infrastructure, and execute pre-launch calibration campaigns. This hybrid position requires on-site work in Mountain View, CA, three days a week, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
