Higharc is seeking a Research Engineer to join their Special Projects team, focusing on foundational research in spatial AI for residential construction. This role involves developing novel approaches at the intersection of reinforcement learning, computer vision, LLMs, and 3D geometry to solve unique problems in the homebuilding industry. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in LLM development, fine-tuning, and applied ML systems in production. You will be responsible for designing and conducting original research, building end-to-end LLM training pipelines, and applying computer vision techniques to architectural inputs, ultimately delivering research outputs ready for integration into Higharc's AI platform.
