The Senior Prototype Engineer, Welding will be central to the company's success, designing and building prototype and flight hardware for renewable energy and ocean technology. This role involves constant prototyping, welding, fabrication, and iteration to create hardware capable of surviving harsh ocean conditions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience, strong CAD skills, and a drive for continuous improvement in shop processes and safety. You will work closely with engineers, providing DFM feedback and owning weldments from drawing to finished part, ensuring the shop operates safely and efficiently.
