K2 is seeking a Senior Mechanisms Engineer, Turbomachinery, to design, analyze, manufacture, test, integrate, and deploy precision turbomachinery for active thermal control systems on high-power spacecraft. This role is critical for managing heat generated by payloads on K2's 20-kW platform across various orbits. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 5+ years of mechanical/electromechanical design experience, and at least 2 years of turbomachinery design and analysis experience in harsh environments. You will be responsible for mission-critical hardware from concept through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver these systems at scale.
