Vast is seeking a Senior Thermal Engineer to lead the thermal architecture and analysis for a new 15kW spacecraft bus, designed to scale to hundreds of units annually. This role involves owning the thermal design from architecture through flight delivery, tackling challenges like high-power-density electronics and diverse payload configurations. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of spacecraft thermal engineering experience, including building and correlating thermal models for flight hardware. You will define thermal control architectures, perform system-level analysis, and plan TVAC test campaigns, starting as the sole thermal engineer and building a team as the program grows.
