Mercury is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Security Officer to serve as the operating second to the CISO, specifically owning the bank-entity scope of their 2LOD Information Security program. This is a critical build-and-defend role focused on ensuring the program is examiner-ready, managing regulatory inquiries, and leading remediation efforts for FFIEC IT control deficiencies. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in Information Security, with at least 3 years inside a regulated bank, and deep fluency in FFIEC and OCC regulations. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a bank-side security program from the ground up, maintaining OCC standards while preserving Mercury's operating tempo.
