Lambda is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Compute pillar to define the technical vision for their next-generation GPU and CPU host instance lifecycle and compute control plane. This role involves bridging high-level distributed systems with low-level semiconductor architecture to enable seamless, reliable cloud provisioning at massive scale. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in compute control plane distributed systems, deep expertise in durable execution models, and a proven track record in large-scale hardware enablement and data center deployments. You will provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding development of a resilient compute control plane and driving high-impact, cross-functional initiatives to deliver enterprise-grade SLAs for AI researchers.
