Oxide is seeking a Networking Software Engineer to join their team, focusing on an ambitious approach to networking that involves developing their own compute sled, cabled backplane, switch, and the entire software stack from firmware to end-user experience. This role involves collaborating with systems engineers, operating across multiple layers of the stack to build a rack-scale system, and developing tools for network simulation and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience with Rust or C, a deep understanding of load balancing, and expertise in IPsec-based VPN technologies and data center networks. This is an opportunity to contribute to open-source code and work on true hardware/software co-design, breaking down barriers in low-level networking.
