Varda is seeking a Director, Mechanisms Engineering - Pharmaceutical Payloads to lead the team responsible for their in-orbit pharmaceutical manufacturing payloads. This role involves building and growing a team of payload engineers, owning the technical definition and evolution of Varda's pharma payload product line, and ensuring the successful development and flight of precision electromechanical fluid-handling systems. The ideal candidate is a technically exceptional leader with 10+ years of experience in complex electromechanical hardware and 3+ years of team leadership, ready to establish the first industrial manufacturing capability in space.
