Gatik is seeking a Senior Systems & Safety Engineer for AI/ML to join their team revolutionizing middle-mile logistics with fully driverless commercial box trucks. This role bridges deep learning algorithms with rigorous safety engineering, focusing on defining functional safety and SOTIF strategies for learned components. The ideal candidate will establish OOD detection criteria, design runtime AI safety monitors, and construct evidence-backed safety cases for machine learning models in Level 4 autonomous vehicles.
