Astro Mechanica is seeking a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer to join their Airframe team in San Francisco. This role involves performing design and analysis of aircraft aerodynamics across various flight regimes, utilizing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and advanced optimization techniques. The ideal candidate is an experienced aerodynamicist with 10+ years in the field, capable of moving seamlessly between physics, computational analysis, and experimental validation. You will work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, contributing to the development of high-speed flight systems and leading multidisciplinary design, analysis, and optimization (MDAO) efforts.
