LILA is seeking a Research Scientist I/II, AI for Process Engineering, to design and build intelligent agent-driven systems for AI-accelerated process engineering. This role involves developing methods for AI agents to reason about, design, simulate, optimize, and operate complex physical and chemical processes. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Chemical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering, with strong experience in process simulation, optimization tools, and Python. You will architect agentic frameworks to support end-to-end process engineering workflows and contribute to shaping Lila's scientific superintelligence for autonomous process engineering.
