Apptronik is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Humanoid Controls to join their Motion Control & Planning team, focusing on their flagship humanoid robot, Apollo. This senior role involves raising the quality of the robotics stack, advancing whole-body control for wheeled and bipedal platforms, and translating state-of-the-art controls and learning into robust capabilities. The ideal candidate will have deep robotics fundamentals, expertise in whole-body control, and hands-on experience with learning-based control in robotics. You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to expand the robot's performance envelope and bring Apollo to market at scale.
