K2 is seeking a Senior Thermal Analyst to lead thermal modeling and simulation for their high-power spacecraft, predicting temperatures across all mission phases. This role involves owning end-to-end orbital thermal models using Thermal Desktop, leading steady-state and transient analyses, and defining thermal margins for design reviews. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of thermal test experience in manufacturing, 3+ years with fluid systems, and strong experience with thermal and TVAC testing. You will mentor junior analysts and be a key interface between the analysis team and Thermal Design Engineers, directly informing hardware decisions.
