Freeform is seeking a Simulation Engineer to develop physics-based, data-driven models for their AI-native metal 3D printing factory. This role involves creating high-performance numerical solvers for advanced metal 3D printing systems, implementing models for real-time performance on HPC/GPU platforms, and integrating them with software and hardware systems. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in physical simulations and multi-physics phenomena, with strong programming skills in C, C++, or CUDA. While 3D printing experience isn't required, a Master's degree in a related technical field and experience with low-level numerical solvers are essential for this on-site position in Los Angeles, CA.
