The Senior Fleet Simulation Engineer will bridge the gap between real-world sensor data and internal simulation tools for a renewable energy and ocean technology company. This role involves operating the entire stack from end-to-end, running physics simulations, managing cloud data, and post-processing results to inform fleet operations and future designs. The ideal candidate will own the digital twin of the fleet, ensuring simulation outputs match ocean conditions and diagnosing anomalies using strong simulation and data acquisition/processing experience. Proficiency in Julia and Python, along with foundational knowledge in fluid mechanics and structural dynamics, is required to develop tools for fleet-wide performance monitoring and refine designs based on empirical evidence.
