Lightmatter is seeking a talented Chip Firmware Development Engineer to build the next generation of photonic AI processors and interconnects. This role involves developing and extending the device software and firmware stack for Photonic Compute and interconnect products, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on control plane architecture, diagnostics, and laser control. The ideal candidate will have 6-8+ years of experience in device driver and kernel-side development, strong hardware-software integration skills, and experience with embedded systems on Linux.
