Verda is seeking a Performance Engineer to optimize container and serverless GPU platforms for AI/ML workloads. This role involves profiling and enhancing the end-to-end path for containerized ML/AI, from image distribution to inference, and designing storage layers between object stores and GPU nodes. The ideal candidate will have production experience making ML/AI workloads faster, a strong grasp of Linux storage and container runtime internals, and an end-to-end view of the system stack. You will drive measurable improvements in cold-start latency, training step time, and time-to-first-token for both internal and customer workloads. This is a hybrid role based in Helsinki, Finland, offering cash and equity compensation.
