Universal Quantum is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (f/m/d) to join their team in Hamburg, Germany, focusing on hardware development for ion-trap quantum computing. This role involves designing, building, and testing thermal control systems and electronic enclosure assemblies for quantum devices, and integrating mechanical designs with laser and electronics systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in mechanical system design, particularly with thermal management and electronic enclosures, and be proficient in 2D & 3D CAD and CAE tools.
