Varda is seeking a highly talented and self-motivated Astrodynamics Engineer to join their Autonomous Systems team. This role involves technical leadership in creating, designing, and implementing full-cycle mission planning and orbital mechanics profiles for future reentry vehicles, enabling precision landing and return of manufactured products to Earth. The engineer will own the development of modeling and simulation infrastructure and tooling, ensuring accurate, reliable, and safe trajectory design and reentry profiles. Candidates should have a B.S. degree and 3+ years of experience in relevant fields, with strong skills in C++/Python/MATLAB/Simulink and a passion for advancing the commercial space industry.
