Overland AI is seeking Systems Safety Engineers to lead system safety engineering for their autonomous vehicles and programs. These roles are critical for integrating safety across the full product lifecycle, from concept to field operations, within the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) organization. The ideal candidate will develop and execute system safety programs, produce standard safety artifacts aligned with DoD and industry expectations, and objectively evaluate hazards and risk controls. This position requires collaboration with various teams while maintaining independence in safety assessment, ensuring rigorous and defensible safety determinations for multiple safety-certified deployments.
