Apptronik is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Humanoid Controls to join their Motion Control & Planning team, focusing on their flagship humanoid robot, Apollo. This senior role involves raising the quality of the robotics stack, advancing whole-body control for wheeled and bipedal platforms, and translating state-of-the-art control and learning methods into robust capabilities. The ideal candidate will have deep robotics fundamentals, proven expertise in whole-body control, and hands-on experience with learning-based control in robotics, along with strong C++ and Python skills. This position offers the opportunity to set technical direction, mentor engineers, and contribute to bringing Apollo to market at scale.
