Astro Mechanica is seeking an experienced Senior Propulsion Engineer to take full ownership of hardware design for their innovative Duality™ engine, from concept to flight qualification. This role involves detailed design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and problem diagnosis for jet engine and subsystem hardware. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on experience with propulsion systems, proficiency in Siemens NX, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and thermodynamics. You will play a direct role in shaping the configuration and performance of a proprietary dual-use propulsion system aimed at democratizing high-speed flight.
