Quantum-Art is seeking a highly skilled Theoretical Physicist to join their Theory and Algorithms Group, focusing on state-of-the-art quantum computing systems based on trapped-ion technology. This role involves developing numerical simulations and analytical models of quantum computers, designing robust quantum logic gates, and creating tools for QPU performance evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Physics, a strong background in quantum science, and proficiency in Python or Julia. You will collaborate with the QPU group to advance high-performance and scalable quantum computers.
