Vast is seeking a Materials and Processes Engineer to contribute to the development of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This role involves designing, developing, and fabricating innovative material solutions for crew-facing hardware and interiors in microgravity and artificial gravity environments. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in materials science or a related field, 4+ years of experience in aerospace or textiles materials development, and expertise in selecting and qualifying materials for extreme conditions. You will drive material prototyping, testing, and development, working cross-functionally to translate system-level requirements into manufacturable solutions.
