Varda is seeking a highly motivated and creative Principal Scientist, Analytical Sciences to lead efforts in improving therapeutics with microgravity within their pharmaceutical R&D team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape Varda's product culture and contribute significantly to establishing the low Earth orbit economy. The Principal Scientist will be responsible for developing and validating analytical methods for characterizing drug substances and products, leading a small team of junior scientists, and acting as a program responsible engineer for internal and external projects. Candidates should have a strong background in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields, with extensive experience in developing characterization methods for biologics and small molecule APIs for regulatory filings.
