Parallel Systems is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer, Perception, to develop low-level software for the perception sensing stack on their autonomous, battery-electric rail vehicles. This role involves owning drivers, kernel components, and firmware to ensure real-time, high-throughput camera and lidar data for the perception pipeline. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in embedded or firmware engineering, strong knowledge of Linux internals, and proficiency in Rust and C++ on ARM and NVIDIA platforms.
