Defense Unicorns is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their combined DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering team, responsible for a cloud-based platform environment. This role involves building and improving systems that other teams depend on, focusing on Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate will have an active Secret clearance and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, IaC tools like Terraform, and CI/CD platforms like GitLab CI. You will work across infrastructure as code, automated deployments, IAM, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines, advocating best practices and ensuring platform reliability, security, and scalability for U.S. government contractors.
