Nex is seeking a Software Engineer Intern (ML Research, Core Technology) for Summer 2027 in Hong Kong. This role involves exploring and developing machine learning methods for the Nex Playground, focusing on computational perception and interaction using cameras, microphones, and other sensors. Interns will work on a meaningful research project, collaborating with ML researchers and engineers to build and optimize models for real-time, on-device inference. Candidates should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a strong interest in machine learning, solid mathematical fundamentals, and programming experience.
