This role is for an ML Compiler & System Engineer to fully own Quadrants, an open-source Python compiler designed for physics and performance-critical numerical computing. You will be responsible for the entire system, from API design and IR lowering to optimization passes and numerical primitives, with a focus on GPU and CPU backends. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in GPU architecture, Python API design, and compiler internals, with a proactive and self-directed work style. You will drive the project's roadmap, ensuring engineers can write readable code while Quadrants handles performance optimization, aiming to define the state of the art in this domain.
