Profluent is seeking a Scientist II - Sr. Scientist to lead and apply experimental workflows for characterizing the specificity, safety, and developability of their personalized CRISPR base editing platform. This role will initially focus on establishing and scaling base-editor specificity workflows, including biochemical and cell-based approaches like CHANGE-seq-BE, to identify DNA and RNA off-target activity. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to generate decision-quality datasets, interpret NGS-based specificity data, and build robust workflows for AI-designed genome editing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an expert in CRISPR-based genome editing with 2-4 years of industry experience to shape the evaluation and advancement of novel gene editing platforms.
