As a Staff Software Engineer at Trase Systems, you will be responsible for owning the core execution model and platform architecture of Trase OS, the agentic operating system powering Trase deployments in regulated environments. This critical role involves defining abstractions and APIs, ensuring correctness, scalability, and extensibility, especially under failure and security constraints. You will set the technical direction for the platform, acting as a force multiplier across engineering teams, and ensuring auditability and reliability for long-lived agents in sensitive industries like healthcare and defense. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in distributed/platform systems and expertise in durable execution and security in production environments.
