Waabi is seeking a Distillation Lead to drive the strategy and execution for model distillation and compression across its AI stack, powering autonomous trucks and robotaxis. This role involves designing and implementing state-of-the-art efficiency pipelines for various ML models, ensuring they run efficiently in diverse deployment contexts. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in distillation techniques, a strong ML engineering foundation, and proven technical leadership to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor others in the field. This is a critical role for optimizing Waabi's Physical AI platform for both real-time onboard systems and high-throughput simulation pipelines.
