Hermeus, a high-speed aircraft manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Structures Engineer to lead the design, build, and test of next-generation aircraft aerostructures. This role involves leading hardware upgrades, clean sheet designs, and mentoring junior engineers, contributing to iterative airframes on the path to hypersonic flight. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering first principles, hands-on experience with physical hardware, and a proven ability to design, build, break, and iterate quickly. Responsibilities include detailed project planning, DFM collaboration, full-stack design to build to test processes, and driving the transition from prototype to production for complex aerospace assemblies. This is an on-site, full-time position in Los Angeles, CA, with up to 25% travel required.
