Muon Space is seeking a Senior Optomechanical Engineer to support the production of infrared remote sensing instruments, either in Mountain View, CA or remotely. This role involves spanning the full lifecycle of instrument development, from design and analysis to assembly, integration, and test. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated engineer with a versatile skill set, comfortable with technical depth from individual components to system level. You will be responsible for driving optomechanical subsystem development and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners. Previous experience with space remote sensing instruments in fast-paced environments is highly preferred.
