One of the teams we’re working with is reimagining how engineering knowledge is created and shared. Here’s a snapshot of the role:

Senior or Staff Platform Engineer | NYC (Onsite)
This fast-growing startup (17 people total, 12–13 engineers) is building a new category of developer tooling — helping teams understand everything that happens after you hit deploy. Their platform looks across infrastructure, observability, databases, and collaboration tools like Slack, GitHub, and Notion — surfacing root causes of downtime with actionable insights for remediation.

About the Company
They’ve reached ~$4M ARR with strong early traction, including pilots with several well-known tech companies and a growing enterprise pipeline. The team is highly technical, low on hierarchy, and deeply focused on engineering excellence.

The Role
You’ll work on distributed systems and platform-level challenges, helping scale a product that sits at the core of how modern teams debug, monitor, and optimize production systems. Expect high autonomy, deep ownership, and close collaboration across a small but elite engineering group.

You’ll also gain meaningful equity in a company redefining how teams operate after deploy.

What They’re Looking For

• Strong systems and infrastructure background (microservices, pipelines, distributed systems)
• Experience at hypergrowth startups or high-scale environments
• Comfortable across backend, infra, and data systems — platform over pure backend
• Highly autonomous; able to self-manage and own major areas of the product
• Experience with TypeScript, Go, or C++ is a plus (but it is a language agnostic culture)

Working Model

• 5 days onsite in New York City

Compensation

• Senior: $200K–$250K + equity
• Staff: $250K–$300K + equity
