Parallel is seeking an Early Career Research Engineer to design and train the models powering their AI agent APIs, focusing on information retrieval for the LLM era. This role is ideal for a researcher with an engineering mindset or vice versa, who has experience with or deep curiosity about information retrieval systems, embedding models, or neural ranking at scale. You will tackle hyperscale research problems, combining classical IR techniques with modern deep learning to enable AI agents to find exactly what they need from the open web.
