Volantis is seeking a Laser Test Engineer to develop and qualify testing procedures for custom lasers and scale them for mass production. This role involves owning the development and implementation of testing and reliability procedures for first- and second-generation custom laser designs, including their integration with wafer-scale interposers. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with semiconductor laser testing, characterization, and qualification, along with expertise in designing prober systems and test automation. You will collaborate with design, packaging, and interposer teams to ensure the reliability of VCSEL arrays and the overall system.
