Proxima Fusion is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a unique temporary secondment program. This role involves developing assembly strategies and work packages for their stellarator machine program, a critical component of their first integrated prototype. The first 12 months will be spent embedded at the ITER Organization in France, gaining hands-on experience at the world's largest fusion experiment, before relocating to Munich. Candidates should have a Master's in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in large industrial or nuclear projects, with a strong understanding of complex assembly and safety principles.
