Whop is seeking a Director of Accounting to serve as a senior technical accounting resource and build scalable corporate-accounting processes. This leader will own the accounting analysis and execution for complex matters under U.S. GAAP, including leases, equity, and revenue, and will be the primary contact for external auditors. The role involves owning financial disclosures, leading the corporate-accounting close, and designing the accounting for their new NetSuite ERP, with an emphasis on implementing AI into workflows. We are looking for a candidate with 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, deep U.S. GAAP knowledge, and a CPA, preferably with Big Four experience.
