Tie is solving one of the most painful problems in high finance; the endless “tick and tie.” Your work will directly impact how analysts, investors, and dealmakers spend their time.

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect:
•Fine-tune and adapt language models (LoRA/QLoRA, SFT, DPO) using curated datasets
•Build and evaluate LLM pipelines for text and numeric data extraction
•Deploy multi-agent workflows to automate parts of the QC process
•Design and run model evaluations (accuracy, recall, invalid-JSON rate, cost)
•Collaborate with founders and design partners to define new product features
•Debug, test, and iterate fast — learning and shipping continuously

Desired Skills/Experience:
•Deep knowledge of NLP and large language models (Transformers, PyTorch, LangChain, etc.)
•Experience adapting or fine-tuning open-source models (Llama, Mistral, GPT variants)
•Comfortable mixing deterministic logic + AI to boost reliability (guardrails, unit normalization)
•Proven ability to evaluate models (precision/recall/F1, latency, cost tradeoffs)
•Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and fast prototyping
•Domain familiarity with financial docs a plus — but curiosity and rigor matter more
