Scale is seeking an AI/ML Infrastructure Engineer to join their Machine Learning Infrastructure team, focusing on building out the Training Platform. This role involves partnering with ML researchers to accelerate experimentation throughput by applying domain expertise and compute resources. The ideal candidate possesses strong fundamentals in machine learning, backend system design, and prior ML Infrastructure experience, with a comfort for large-scale system design and diagnosing model performance and system failures. Responsibilities include building highly available and cost-effective APIs for model training and owning projects end-to-end.
