Generalist is seeking a Software Engineer: Robotics Controls to own the software that controls their robots, collaborating with ML and hardware teams. This role involves designing, implementing, and testing real-time control systems for various robot embodiments, from low-level firmware to custom hardware. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in rigid body kinematics, robotic controls, and bringing robots to production, with proficiency in Python and C++ and experience with ROS/ROS2/ZCM.
