Nex is seeking a Software Engineer in Test for a 12-month contract in Hong Kong, focusing on stability and reliability for the Nex Playground's AOSP-based motion-sensing device. This role involves building automated test frameworks, stress/soak testing infrastructure, and validation tools for the Motion Development Kit (MDK), firmware, and hardware modules. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in software test engineering for embedded/Android systems, strong Python skills, and a passion for solving complex reliability problems across hardware, firmware, and Android software layers. You will work within a small, highly technical team, ensuring the platform's long-term stability and quality.
