The Role:
We’re seeking an Operator in Residence for a 3-month engagement to lead early incubation efforts for a new Stealth Venture in the professional women’s community space. As a core architect of this new business, you’ll lay the foundation by conducting market research to identify the white space, developing a product strategy and building a methodology to validate the product, audience and GTM approach. You’ll work closely with a Tier 1 VC incubation team and our GTM Strategic Partner.

You Will:

• Lead qualitative and quantitative research to understand market dynamics, user needs and behavioral trends
• Map the competitive landscape and identify the white space opportunities for differentiation
• Develop and refine key hypotheses around product, audience and business model
• Design and execute early validation experiments to test demand, value proposition and positioning
• Communicate and collaborate closely with incubations team and strategic partners to gather feedback, iterate and refine the vision
  Independently create all foundational materials (decks, briefs, financial models)

About You:

• 8 - 12+ years of experience, with some time spent in Management Consulting or Investment Banking, plus time spent as an Operator at a high-growth startup
• You are deeply curious and extremely proactive, with prior experience with engagements of this nature and are comfortable driving the methodology and implementation autonomously
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are energized by the ambiguity at the earliest 0-1 stages of ideation and validation
• You are passionate about the Consumer space and have fluency in popular culture
• You are an exceptional communicator (verbal and written) that is at the heart of your ability to build relationships across stakeholders, as well as translate complex topics
• You have a true passion for community-building in the women’s space
• You are a genuinely great human being with a positive, hard-working energy
• You are based in LA (preferably) or NYC (with willingness to work PT hours and travel to LA regularly); this role is hybrid and flexible to the needs of the engagement
• Within the next 30 days, you are ready to make this your temporary, full-time engagement; potential to extend engagement based on results and performance
