Vinci is seeking a Member of Technical Staff - Protocol & Security Engineer to design and own the core communication protocol for coordinating complex physical system simulations. This backend engineering role focuses on building secure-by-design systems, encompassing wire formats, identity models, and trust models for cross-system computation. The ideal candidate will have experience designing robust network protocols and deep expertise in applied transport and authentication security, ensuring the protocol is auditable and explainable. You will collaborate with physicists, numerical engineers, and full-stack engineers to integrate security from the ground up and represent Vinci's security posture to customers.
