LILA is seeking Research Engineers to join their AI Research team, focusing on training LLMs for long-horizon scientific discovery tasks. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing systems for scaling post-training, sharpening reasoning, and enabling compute-intensive agentic-harness training. Candidates will choose from various work streams, including GPU optimization, infrastructure development, model experimentation, evaluations, or agentic capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong Python software engineering skills, experience with distributed ML training frameworks, and an understanding of large-scale model training techniques.
