Lovable is seeking a hands-on Research Engineering Lead to optimize commercial and open-source frontier models, driving the future of AI software engineering. This role involves owning experiments end-to-end, from dataset design to model alignment and performance optimization, with a focus on building the most powerful ensemble of LLMs into Lovable products. The ideal candidate is a curious, experimental leader with a strong background in LLM research, fine-tuning large-scale transformer models, and developing state-of-the-art code generation models. You will design and execute experiments, define LLM performance metrics, and partner with engineering leads to build a world-class team, while working with a modern tech stack including React, Golang, Rust, and various cloud platforms.
